Hi, I’m Brandon Burnett, I’m 34 years-old and originally from Northeast Ohio. I’m proud to serve as the Alumni Coordinator here at The Bluffs Ohio. Being in recovery myself since January 4th, 2017, I bring a deep sense of gratitude and passion to this role. What I love most about my position is the chance to be part of so many incredible recovery journeys. I strive to build trust, meet individuals where they are, and connect through shared experiences. While I approach each interaction with compassion and understanding, I’m also committed to challenging individuals to dig deep and uncover the underlying issues behind their use of substances as a coping mechanism. I’ve been fortunate enough to have people there for me throughout my journey in recovery and being able to give back and do the same for others is priceless. I’ve worked in multiple facilities and different levels of care in Southern California before coming to work here at The Bluffs Ohio. Working in treatment started for me at SoCal Detox where I was an overnight support staff and a patient/alumnus of multiple stays. From there I went to work at an Outpatient facility, Pacific Palms Recovery as general operations along with being a live in-house manager for a sober living house. After years of working for PPR I worked my way up to become the Director of Operations along with running and managing multiple sober livings for Donna’s House. The patients and alumni here inspire me as much as I hope to inspire them, and every day is a reminder of the power of recovery and connection.
